Bacon Wrapped Smokies
1 package 16 oz or 1 lb of Little Smokies Sausages
1 package of bacon cut into thirds
2 cups of brown sugar (divided)
1 stick of butter
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut the bacon into thirds and wrapped each smokie and secure with a toothpick, place all the wrapped smokies in a single layer in a baking dish.
Melt the stick of butter and 1 cup of brown sugar. Stir until mixed well. Then pour the butter, brown sugar mixture over the bacon wrapped smokies. Then take the other 1 cup of brown sugar and sprinkle evenly over the bacon wrapped smokies.
Bake them for about 15-20 minutes - then turn the heat up to 400 degrees for about 5 minutes or longer until the bacon becomes crispy.
