Chocolate Cherry Bars

1 box Pillsbury Moist Supreme Devil’s Food Cake Mix
1 - 21 oz can cherry pie filling
1 teaspoon almond extract
3 eggs, beaten

Heat oven to 350°.  Grease and flour 9x13 inch baking dish.  In bowl, combine all above ingredients and mix until well blended. Pour into baking dish.  Bake at 350° until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, about 25 to 35 minutes.  Frost.

Frosting

1 cup sugar
1/3 cup milk
5 Tblsp. Butter
1 cup chocolate chips

In small saucepan, combine 1 cup sugar, 1/3 cup milk and 5 Tblsp. butter.  Bring to boil stirring constantly.  Remove from heat; stir in 1 cup chocolate chips until smooth and spread over warm bars.  Cool completely, about 1¼ hour.  Cut into bars.
